I now post on this server for 10 euros a year.
There is a shortage or absolute absence of free usenet servers.
This is to be the least worst ... is not bad!!! https://news.individual.net/

spam works great . . . everyone loves spam . . . news server administrators
wholeheartedly support and promote spam across these unmoderated newsgroups

trolling too . . . trolling has set the standard for all usenet subscribers
and you should be crossposting because that's how trolls become celebrities
(e.g. "heartdoc andrew", "peeler", "quack andrew b. chung" <newsdemon.com>)

this newsgroup, alt.privacy.anon-server, is particularly fond of "qsl" spam
and "tutanota" promotional advertisements . . . big brother is here to help
so if anyone is hiding something they must be outlaws and need to be caught

now whatever you do, don't use remailers, free news servers, or tor browser
because those stupid tools are too hard to use and make you look ridiculous

qsl spam?
Pray tell, what is "qsl spam?" of which you speak?

You lost me on that one.

You're feeding the biggest asshole troll who ever visited apa-s. Or,
you *are* the asshole troll stirring the pot for an answer.

I'm a bit bored, so I'm considereing setting up a shell server
on a HP120 Gen9 that we will have leftover once that customer migrates (any time now).

Would there be interest in using such a service?
What services would be a nice add-on? (usenet, ssh-over-tor??)
I'm planning to use hardenedbsd to make it a challange for the scipt kiddies.

what domain should I use?
- 386bsd.net
- dizum.{nl,net,com}
- alphared.net
- sabotage.{org,net}
- 'other'?

suggestions for hostname?

This might be a project for q1/2025, any volunteers for adminning this?

Cheers,
Alex

Anything would be appreciated. Like ssh to tor. I think I remember
that mixmaster doesn't want to work with a user name that starts with a
number, so watch that.
