No. Without Tor it's not going to work.

tunnel Ominmix to my ssh VPS.
You're making this way too hard on yourself.

If you need Tor on your VPS, grab a copy.

Try to select SOCKS5 and enter your VPS connection data at Tor|Cfg.

That sounds like a really slick setup.

I'd be interested to hear a solution.

I do this using a new feature with PuTTY. However, my vpn is actually
an ssh connection (cotse.net) which is the same as a vpn, only you have
to point your software individually to cotse. This is a new feature on
PuTTY. My setup is designed so that my Firefox browser connects to a
server I rent that is proxied through cotse. The reason I have to do
this is because youtube is blocking vpns (at least cotse.net) from
accessing videos without having to login. Youtube says they do this to
make sure you are not a bot, but this is youtube BS. What they want to
do is spy on everyone, recording what you are watching. By tunneling
through cotse to a server, youtube can't see that you initially came
thru a vpn.

No.

A much easier way would be enable a VPN server on your VPS and connect to
it. Your VPN connection will serve as your default gateway and all
outbound OmniMix traffic (And others...) running on the VPN client will
then exit the VPS.

That's a Tor question.

If your VPS offers a SOCKS5 proxy append the lines

Socks5Proxy IpAddressOrHostname:ProxyPort

and optionally

Socks5ProxyPassword MyProxyPassword
Socks5ProxyUsername MyProxyUsername

to the OmniMix\tor\data\torrc file.

See <https://support.torproject.org/tbb/tbb-47/> for further variants.
