MIT announced today they pulled the plug on the Dizum remailer.
CNet says Microsoft had filed a DMCA complaint about the windows 2000
source code being redistributed via anonymous remailers. John Laposte,
the senior network administrator at MIT had this to day: "MIT feared
losing millions in grants from the Belinda and Bill Gates foundation.
You can't bite the hand that feeds IT."

I was there!
Tony Reed was one of the longest posters on this newsgroup. He was here
almost to the point where Steve and chuckcar buggered off for good.
Steve was the last poster other than me.
Marc Bissonnette was a real mouthpiece I wish I had of ran into him at
the local bar or boxing club or the edge of a tall cliff. I considered
driving to Ottawa to try to find this guy and fix him good. I think his
daughter died of cancer which pleases me.
JF Mezei only cared about the foreskin on his dick. He drove a bicycle
his entire life. He had a lot of memorable stories which all involved
while driving on my bike...
That guy who buggered off to Boston and told everyone he'd come back to
this newsgroup and never did and accused me of following him around on
Usenet. I'd like to travel to Boston to find that guy if I could
remember his name. The last post Steve made was he had to get on with
his life and he never returned and I assumed he's now dead.
