You can thank the AUK sporger for that. There aren't many of
those cunts left. Shouldn't be any problem to hunt one of them
down and cut their throat just for the fuck of it.

I operate a Tor hidden service at that IP (191.101.251.181)

This is the first I've heard that it is listed in the Spamhaus blocklist.

The hidden service only accepts messages bound for remailer addresses.
Most remailers do not subscribe to Spamhaus. But Austria Remailer is one
of the few that does.

The Tor service receives very little traffic. Less than 2 dozen hits per
day. So I doubt that it is the culprit for the Spamhaus listing.
Nevertheless this is bad news. For the moment I would urger remailer
users to avoid the hidden service at

sopoccfrkrpuiin5.onion:2525

as it will be unreliable. I will see if I can get my IP delisted. But
don't hold your breath.

This is called backscatter. I get a "bad reputation" for spitting out

For a middle-only remailer like lisbeth or roance that shouldn't matter.
If forwarding of the remailer packet is blocked by the packet's remailer
destination that entity is misconfigured, which is not within the scope
of the sender's responsibility.

I've never seen a bounced email from a remailer.
Post the complete headers from the bounce so we can see what it
looks like.
Here you go, just got this today.

Some clarification:

1. This bounce DID NOT come from a remailer. There is no remailer at
lacquer.cloaked.pw (191.101.251.181). Only a Tor service on port 2525.

2. The bounce would not have been generated and then delivered to Gmail
had it not been for a SpamhausRBL listing of 191.101.251.181.

3. The Spamhaus RBL listing of 191.101.251.181 doesn't exist anymore.

I understand completely. Someone wanted to see the full headers of a
bounce, so I posted them. Good news on the spamhaus removal.

Sure it will, I won't get any more bounce messages. Why would you want
to send an email that you know will bounce?
If you're getting bounced emails, you aren't anonymous and it's
pointless to be using a remailer service.

Anonymous enough, as the bounces wind up at a throwaway Gmail address
that was created via Tor and only accessed via Tor.

No problem, I'll just bar Austria in QSL.
why don't you cut off your nose to spite your face while you're
at it?
barring the remailer won't make any difference even if you're
one of those anal-retentive control freaks who believes they can
manipulate every hop of a message on an anonymous remailer
network.
got news for you, you can't.
send the messages, they will get through. it matters naught
what spamhaus does.
