subscribes to the Spamhaus blocklist, has refused to accept the email
send from lacquer that's the hostname of my Tor Hidden service.

And then my server generates backscatter, i.e. a non-delivery
notification gets emailed to the original sender (this one was an AOL
user). And AOL, won't accept the non-delivery notification because of
corse it too subscribes to Spamhaus!

This is called backscatter. I get a "bad reputation" for spitting out
backscatter and end up on *more* RBLs.
Post by Nathan Haleit matters naught what spamhaus does.
I disagree. My server is badly crippled by being listed in spamhaus. I
would not recommend using it.
